Touring Rajasthan on Heritage on Wheels is arguably the most
luxurious and pleasurable train journeys you have taken in
a ling time. The duration of the tour is three nights and
four days and the Heritage on Wheels Itinerary include visit
to places like Jaipur, Bikaner, Haat, Gajner, Tal Chhapar,
Ramgarh, Nawalgarh and back to Jaipur.
DAY 01 - ARRIVE JAIPUR - BIKANER
After your arrival in Jaipur you are required to head for
the railway station to board the Heritage on Wheels. Following
the Heritage on Wheels itinerary, the luxury train's first
stop over is Bikaner. You will have dinner on the train itself
and enjoy an undisturbed sleep in one of the well-appointed
plush coaches.
DAY 02 - BIKANER
On the second day you will be arriving at Bikaner and having
your breakfast on board the train. After breakfast we move
on to visit the forts of Bikaner after which we proceed towards
Haat. A short sojourn in Haat is followed by departure for
Gajner. Arrival in Gajner is followed by an opulent lunch.
You will also get to enjoy the camel safaris on the desert
sands. After getting back on the train you will have dinner
after which we head for Tal Chhapar.
DAY 03 - TAL CHHAPAR AND SHEKHAWATI
On the third day the Heritage on Wheels arrives at the Padhiyar
Railway Station. You can go in for some local sightseeing
after arriving at Tal Chhapar. This is followed by a departure
for Ramgarh that have many havelis that might catch your fancy.
Next on Heritage on Wheels itineraries is a journey to Mandawa.
You would be impressed by the majesty of the palaces and cenotaphs
that dot the place. After having a lunch at Mandawa Resort,
we depart for Nawalgarh. Nawalgarh has many local attractions
and you can also enjoy your evening snacks and tea here. Back
on the Heritage on Wheels you will have your dinner and leave
for Jaipur.
DAY 04 - JAIPUR
Your exotic and deluxe journey reaches its culmination on
the fourth day which you begin by having your breakfast on
board Heritage on Wheels after reaching Jaipur. As you disembark
the Heritage on Wheels, you would feel as if you are leaving
behind a portion of your heart way back in that enchanting
land.
