Gajner Palace was built by a Hindu ruler. It was designed by H.H. Maharaja Sir Ganga Singhji of Bikaner. British used it as a hunting resort. Various notable people like Governor General Lord Elgin, Viceroy of India Lord Mountbatten, Prince of Wales and Lord Erwin visited this palace for the purpose of hunting only. However, with the passage of time this palatial edifice was converted into heritage hotel. Today, Gajner Palace Hotel, Bikaner is owned and maintained by HRH Group of Hotels.
